Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to your use of Nearia ("Nearia", "we", "us"), a word game available through Discord. By using Nearia, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age required to use Discord in your country and comply with Discord's Terms of Service.
Use of Nearia
Nearia provides daily word puzzles, multiplayer and shared gameplay, leaderboards, and optional virtual items and currency.
You may not:
- Use bots, scripts, modified clients, or other forms of automation to play Nearia.
- Attempt to obtain puzzle answers or other restricted information outside normal gameplay.
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for an unfair advantage.
- Interfere with, overload, attack, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Nearia or its systems.
- Buy, sell, trade, or otherwise transfer Nearia accounts, gems, or virtual items outside the game.
We may remove improperly obtained progress, items, or currency, reset game progress, or suspend access where necessary to protect Nearia or other players.
Gems and Purchases
Nearia may offer optional purchases of virtual currency ("Gems") or virtual items.
Gems and virtual items:
- Exist only within Nearia and have no real-world monetary value.
- Cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts.
- May only be used for the features and items offered within Nearia.
Payments are processed by Discord. Nearia does not receive or store your payment card or banking information.
Refunds and payment disputes are handled according to Discord's applicable payment and refund policies. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Prices, features, and the availability of virtual items may change over time.
Fair Play and Game Content
Nearia's puzzles, rankings, word relationships, and other gameplay systems may occasionally produce unexpected results. We may modify these systems, puzzles, features, or balancing at any time.
Availability
Nearia is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or continue indefinitely.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nearia and its operator are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Account Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Nearia at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to Nearia for violations of these Terms, abuse of the service, fraud, or conduct that threatens the service or other users.
You may request deletion of the personal data associated with your Nearia account as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the effective date above will be updated. Material changes may also be communicated through Nearia or Discord where appropriate.
